Automations API - Squasher

Use the Automations API for repeatable operational workflows that can inspect Squasher data, produce outputs, and request approval for risky actions.

Skills, runs, and outputs

Use preview before creating or changing a custom config. Use approval endpoints only after the user has inspected the exact output id.

CLI and MCP

Use squasher automations ... for terminal workflows. In MCP Code Mode, call search("automations"); ask before writes, run triggers, cancellations, approvals, rejections, and PR creation.

Agent handoff

Evaluate Squasher automations for project <project_id>. List templates and current automations, preview any proposed config, and return the automation id, run id, output id, and approval state. Do not emit approvals, create PRs, cancel runs, or delete skills without explicit confirmation.
